Mamta Kulkarni was recently appointed Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara. A few days after that she was removed from the post of Mahamandaleshwar. Meanwhile, in Aap Ki Adalat, Mamta Kulkarni along with Rajat Sharma reacted to the claims that she had paid 10 crores to become Mahamandaleshwar.

Mamta Kulkarni talked about the financial situation

Actually, in Aap Ki Adalat, Mamta Kulkarni talked about her poor financial condition. She said, "I don't have even 1 crore, let alone 10 crores. The government has seized my bank accounts. You don't know how I am living. I had to borrow 2 lakh rupees from someone, that too which is to be given as dakshina to the guru. When I was made Mahamandleshwar, I presented it to my guru as dakshina."

Mamta Kulkarni said this

Mamta Kulkarni further shared that, "My three apartments are in a dilapidated state, they have termites in them, because they have been closed for the last 23 years. I cannot describe the financial crisis I am going through".

Mamta Kulkarni removed from the post of Mahamandleshwar

Let us tell you that the appointment of Mamta Kulkarni as Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara gave rise to controversy and internal strife within the community. On January 31, Rishi Ajay Das, the founder of Kinnar Akhara, issued a press statement announcing her expulsion. He said, "Without following any religious or Akhara tradition and without making her a sanyasi first, she was directly given the title and lease of Mahamandaleshwar. Therefore, in the interest of the country, Sanatan Dharma, and society, I am reluctantly forced to relieve her from the post".

Her last Bollywood film was released in 2002.
