Let us tell you that after being honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Mithun Chakraborty shared anecdotes from his early career and said, "Many people told me that dark-skinned actors will not be able to survive in Bollywood. I prayed to God, 'Can you change my complexion?' but eventually accepted that I cannot change my complexion. Instead, I focused on my dancing skills, determined to become so remarkable that the audience would overlook my skin color. This is how I turned into a 'sexy, dark Bengali Babu'".
'I didn't get anything easily'- Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun Chakraborty also spoke openly about the ups and downs of the industry. The actor said, "I thought I had become Al Pacino. I started behaving disrespectfully with the producers. But the reality came when a producer threw me out of his office. That day I realized that I am not Al Pacino and with this my illusions ended. I did not get anything easily and whatever I earned was earned with hard work. I often questioned God for my struggles, but after receiving this award, I feel calm and will never complain again".
Mithun Chakraborty said this to the youth
Mithun Chakraborty further said, 'Today's young boys are coming, I would like to say to them that they have a lot of young talent, but they lack money. Just like it was with me. I would say don't lose courage, dream a lot. Sleep yourself but don't let your dreams sleep. Because if I can become something, then everyone can become something.

Mithun Chakraborty made his film debut in 1976 with Mrigayaa, where he mesmerized the audience with his versatile acting. Mithun Chakraborty came into the limelight after the release of his film Disco Dancer in 1982. In the last few years, he has worked in many films.
