71st National Film Awards: The 71st National Film Awards ceremony, held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delh,i celebrated the best of Indian cinema of 2023. The evening was special for Shah Rukh Khan as he received his first National Award in his career spanning over three decades. The actor won the Best Actor title for his powerful performance in Atlee's blockbuster Jawaan, an achievement his family celebrated online.

Veteran superstar Mohanlal was honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his incomparable contribution to Indian cinema. President Draupadi Murmu, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, director P. Seshadri and writer Gopalkrishna Pai were also present at the ceremony.
