Actually, according to a Times Now report, Shah Rukh Khan will play the role of a professional killer in the film King, who protects a girl whose entire family is killed. The report states that King is a remake of French actor Jean Reno's 1994 film Leon: The Professional, which was directed by Luc Besson. In this French film, Jean Reno has no option but to take care of a 12-year-old girl when her family perishes. Suhana Khan will not play the role of a 12-year-old girl in King. However, the basic plot of the film remains the same, that is - she is protected by a hitman played by her real-life father.

Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the role of a villain

Apart from Shahrukh Khan and Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan will also play an important role in the film. Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the role of a villain in King. King will be released in the year 2025

This action-packed thriller King is being produced by Shah Rukh under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand's production house Marflix. The music and background score of King is being done by Anirudh, while the team has roped in some of the best names from all over to design the action sequences. The film is expected to be released in December 2025. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming films list also includes the much-awaited Tiger vs Pathan with Salman Khan.
