Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' Update: The epic drama film 'Ramayana' directed by Nitesh Tiwari has been in the headlines for a long time. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Rama in the film 'Ramayana'. Not only this, South actor Yash will be seen in the role of Ravana in the film. Yash on Playing Raavan: Most Exciting Role for an Actor

If you ask me if I want to play any other character in Ramayana, then probably not. For me, Raavan is the most exciting character to play as an actor. Yash started shooting for Ramayana

For your information, let us tell you that Yash has started shooting for Ramayan in Mumbai. This schedule is mainly focused on intense battle scenes which are being shot at Aksa Beach. The team will shoot some important battle scenes at Aksa Beach in Mumbai. There are also reports that Ranbir Kapoor will not be joining Yash. After completing this part, the team will shift to a studio in Dahisar for the next phase of filming.

The sets of the film have been built on a large scale

According to sources, "The war portion is being recreated on a large scale, with action choreography designed to showcase Raavan's strategic prowess. It will be a combination of green screen shots and shots shot on the ground and will involve heavy VFX work. Ranbir's presence is not required in this set piece as it is not a Ram-Ravana face-off. Other lead actors have joined Yash for this phase".
