Pahalgam Terror Attack: Elvish Yadav Reveals Special Bond with Martyr's Wife

Pahalgam Attack: The recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, shook the entire country. 26 people lost their lives in this attack. Tragically, among those who lost their lives was Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who had gone on honeymoon with his wife Himanshi. At the same time, YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has reacted to the Pulwama attack. Elvish Yadav revealed that Himanshi, wife of Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was martyred in the terrorist attack, was his college classmate at Hansraj College.

In fact, Elvish Yadav told that when he saw Himanshi's emotional video, he did not recognize her at first. "Only after watching it for the second time did I realize that it was Himanshi. We used to study together in Hansraj. I graduated in 2018 and since then we were not in touch, but I remember that we used to go to the metro station together. She was a part of those carefree college days".

In the video, Elvish, clearly shocked, said, "I didn't call her. What could I say? What would you say to a person who has just seen her husband taken away from her like this?" Instead, he contacted a mutual friend who tried to contact Himanshi. "She didn't answer the first 30 calls, but finally picked up the phone on the 31st time. She told our friend that what is being said is true, that the terrorists asked about religion before opening fire". Elvish Yadav ended his vlog with an emotional message, "This could have happened to anyone. It has shaken me. My prayers are with Himanshi and all the families who have lost their loved ones. Let us never become numb to this violence".

Lieutenant Vinay Narwal and Himanshi got married just a few weeks ago on April 16. They were at Baisaran, a scenic spot near Pahalgam in Anantnag district, for their honeymoon. According to the family, the couple had earlier planned to go to Switzerland but due to visa delays, they decided to go to Kashmir. The attack, which involved mostly tourists, including two foreign nationals, shocked the entire country. Eyewitnesses confirmed that the attackers had asked about the religion of the victims before shooting them.
