Pahalgam Terror Attack: After 8 years, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is making a comeback in Bollywood with the film 'Abir Gulaal'. However, some people are opposing his return to Bollywood. Now, many social media users have demanded a ban on the release of Fawad Khan's Abir Gulaal in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Vaani Kapoor will also be seen in the lead role along with Fawad Khan in the film 'Abir Gulaal'.

Users demanded a ban on Fawad Khan's film

Let us tell you that the Pahalgam terror attack has shocked and saddened every Indian. The brutal killing of 26 innocent people and the serious injuries to many others have enraged the citizens and now they are demanding a ban on the release of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's Indian romantic comedy Abir Gulaal. A social media user wrote, "Abir Gulaal should not be released in India".

Another user wrote, "Are you still in favour of Pakistani artistes in Indian cinema? Will we still allow films like Abir Gulaal to be made with Pakistani artists in India? #PahalgamTerrorAttack #Kashmir #Pahalgam."

A social media user wrote, "Boycott the movie Abir Gulaal starring Fawad Khan."

Expressing his anger, a social media user wrote, "Ban Abir Gulal and everything that comes from Pakistan and Kashmir. The only normal thing in Kashmir is militancy".

'Abir Gulaal' will be released on 9 May 2025

'Abir Gulaal' stars Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. Produced by Indian Stories Limited and A Richer Lens Entertainment, in association with Arjay Pictures, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 9, 2025. Amit Trivedi has worked on its music. Abir Gulaal is directed by Aarti S. Bagri and also stars Ridhi Dogra in a key role. It is set to clash with Rajkummar Rao's 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'. However, ahead of its release, the film has faced strong opposition from prominent political figures and industry leaders, especially in Maharashtra, who are calling for its boycott.
