The Legend of Maula Jatt will not be released in India
Let us tell you that Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan's Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt has not been allowed to run in Indian theaters. The Legend of Maula Jatt was planned to be released in India on October 2. The film was going to be the first Pakistani release in India in a decade, with Zee Studios reportedly acquiring the distribution rights. Raj Thackeray Issues Warning Ahead of Film’s Release
Recently, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray issued a warning against the film's release in Maharashtra. In a tweet, he said, "Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will not allow the film to release in Maharashtra under any circumstances. Why are films with Pakistani actors allowed in India? While the notion that 'art has no boundaries' may apply in some cases, it does not apply in this case. The government must stop this film from releasing in any state, especially Maharashtra."
Shiv Sena’s Anand Dubey Protests 'The Legend of Maula Jatt'
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey also opposed the release of The Legend of Maula Jatt and questioned the need for a Pakistani film in India. In a video recorded by himself, he said, “What is the need to release a Pakistani film in India? Don't we have our own artists? Why should we spend our hard-earned money on Pakistani films, which benefit them and promote terrorism against India? How can the government allow the release of a Pakistani film when it has already classified Pakistan as a terrorist nation that opposes India's progress?”
