PM Modi sent an official letter to Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal, offering his best wishes to the couple. In the letter, PM Modi wrote, "I am delighted to learn that Ms. Smriti and Mr. Palash are engaged to be married on November 23, 2025. My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Mandhana and Muchhal families on this auspicious and joyous occasion."

Palash Muchhal is a 30-year-old music composer and filmmaker. His sister, Palak Muchhal, is a well-known Bollywood playback singer who has sung several hit songs for stars like Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Palash has directed over 40 music videos for major labels like T-Series and Zee Music Company. He has also acted in Ashutosh Gowariker's film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. Currently, he is directing the film Ardh, starring Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik.
