In fact, Palash Muchhal 's lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, responded to these allegations by saying, "He (Vidnyan) claims he gave us money, but there's no proof that he paid by check or bank transfer. What evidence do all the allegations about Palash being caught with another woman have? We don't know this man. We met him through Smriti's father (Srinivas). We have no direct connection to him. Why did he remain silent for so long? He (Vidnyan) only came forward after the marriage broke down. Palash is exploring his legal options."

He said, "When I met their mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she told me that the film's release budget had now increased to ₹1.5 crore. She asked me to invest another ₹10 lakh, or I wouldn't get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatened to remove me from the film, so I was forced to file a complaint."
