Peddi First Look: South superstar Ram Charan is celebrating his 40th birthday today, 27 March 2025. The actor has given a special gift to his fans on his birthday. On the birthday of the South actor, the makers have revealed the name of his upcoming film 'RC 16'. Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen in the lead role along with Ram Charan in the film.

Actually, the much-awaited collaboration between Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor is titled PEDDI (Peddi First Look). Today, the first look poster has been unveiled on Ram Charan's birthday. On his Instagram handle, Buchi Babu Sana shared the posters, in which the actor is seen in an extremely unrecognizable avatar. In the first poster, Ram Charan is seen in a rough look. Beard, long hair, nose ring and a cigar. In the second poster, he is seen holding an old cricket bat in a rural stadium lit up with floodlights. Sharing these posters, the makers wrote, "Happy Birthday my dear Ram Charan sir. In one word you are gold sir". Janhvi Kapoor also reacted and shared the posters.

The film Peddi also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma. Peddi is written by Buchi Babu Sana and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings under the banner of Vridhi Cinema. The film is produced by Venkat Satish Kilaru, with music by AR Rahman, cinematography by R Ratnavelu, production design by Avinash Kolla, editing by Naveen Nooli and VY Praveen Kumar as the executive producer. The shooting of the film is going to start soon.
Ram Charan's last movie
Meanwhile, Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer, a political drama directed by Shankar. The film is based on the journey of an honest IAS officer who takes up the challenge of revolutionizing the political landscape by ensuring corruption-free elections. Apart from Ram Charan, Game Changer also stars Kiara Advani, Anjali, S.J. Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, and many others in pivotal roles. The film was released in theatres on January 10. Ram Charan will be teaming up with Pushpa 2 director Sukumar for his upcoming project, tentatively titled RC17. The much-awaited film will bring the actor-director duo together again after their blockbuster hit Rangasthalam.
