The committee believes that this opposition could hinder the main objective of Ramlila—to spread the message of Lord Shri Ram to society." The committee also clarified that they have no personal differences with Poonam Pandey. Their only aim is to maintain the core purpose of Ramlila. The committee also wished Poonam Pandey well for her future and expressed hope that she would understand and accept this decision.
