Preity Zinta Denies ₹18 Crore Loan Waiver Allegations, Calls Claims 'Fake News'

Preity Zinta Slams Fake Loan Waiver Allegations

Let us tell you that Preity Zinta has reacted to the allegations of a loan of Rs 18 crore, which was allegedly waived off by the crisis-hit New India Cooperative Bank Limited. The actress tweeted to X, writing, "No, I run my social media accounts myself and you should be ashamed of promoting fake news! No one wrote anything for me or took any loan. I am shocked that any political party or their representative is using my name and pictures to promote fake news and indulge in dirty gossip and click bait. For the record a loan was taken and repaid in full - more than 10 years ago. Hope this clarifies and helps so that there are no misunderstandings in the future."

Preity Zinta's Name Linked to Loan Waiver Controversy

Actually, some time ago, due to irregularities in New India Co-operative Bank, customers had to face problems in getting their money. At that time, such news had come out that the bank had given big loans to some of its favourites without following the rules and their loans were also waived off. One name in this was also being mentioned of Preity Zinta. It was being said that she had taken a loan of Rs 18 crore from the bank which was later waived off.
