Sharing the post, she wrote, "What is happening to people on social media? Everyone has become so crazy. If someone talks about their first chat with an AI bot, people assume that it is a paid promotion, if you appreciate your PM then you are a bhakt and God forbid, if you are a proud Hindu or Indian then you are a blind devotee".

Continuing her point, the actress further wrote, "Let's keep it real and take people as they are and not as we think they should be! Maybe we all need to calm down and just be happy to communicate with each other. Now don't ask me why I married Gene? I married him because I love him. Because there is a man on the border who can give his life for me. Understand, if you know then you know."

On this post, a user asked the actress whether celebrities who respond to online toxicity inadvertently "nourish trolls" by giving them attention, to which Preity replied, "I think you guys forget that we haven't grown up with technology, so it feels a bit different and there is a lot of curiosity about AI. On the other hand, I prefer real conversations and I don't get time to go online because I'm busy with my little ones. Earlier we used to have great chats. We used to choose a topic and everyone used to discuss that topic. Hopefully I will come back to those chats when I have more time."
