Justice Ranjit Singh further said, "The film is very close to reality. It depicts a sequence of events that was not merely an allegation but was clearly proven by evidence. These are facts that needed to be presented. I find no objection to any part of the film. What is depicted in it is authentic and supported by existing material. In my opinion, Punjab '95 should be released without any cuts."
