Pushpa 2 stampede case: Allu visits injured Sri Tej in hospital

Pushpa 2 has turned out to be a massive hit at the box office, but Allu Arjun has not been able to enjoy its success due to his arrest in the Sandhya theatre stampede case. Though he was later released on bail, several controversial incidents kept him under the scanner and confined him to his home.

Sadly, a woman lost her life during the screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya theatre and her son Sri Tej is in a brain dead state since the incident. Fortunately, Sri Tej is now showing signs of improvement. Today, on January 7, 2025, Allu Arjun visited Continental Hospital to meet the child. A source close to the actor confirmed this. This is the first time Allu Arjun has visited Sri Tej after he was admitted to the hospital.

His initial absence after the incident led to a lot of criticism, with even CM Revanth Reddy criticising him for being irresponsible. However, Allu Arjun has now taken steps to handle the situation. Allu Arjun along with the makers of Pushpa 2 have donated ₹2 crore to Mr Tej's family and pledged to ensure permanent employment for him in the film industry. This has brought some relief to the issue in the media and trolls regarding Allu Arjun.

On the legal front, Allu Arjun has been restricted from travelling abroad and is required to report to the Chikkadpally police station weekly to sign documents. This legal battle that has been going on for the past one month has posed quite a challenge for the actor. However, after news of him being hospitalised surfaced, the dispute is close to being resolved. The issue of safety of fans at big events has become a serious concern for the film industry. Recently, two of Ram Charan's fans died in a bike accident while returning from a Game Changer event in Rajahmundry. In response, Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan donated ₹10 lakh to the families of the victims.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is set to team up with Trivikram Srinivas for his next project, a pan-India film which is currently in pre-production. The film will be produced by Chinna Babu under the banner of Harika and Hassine Creations.
