Raid 2 Teaser Out: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all set to return as IRS Amay Patnaik in the sequel of 'Raid'. Today, on 28 March 2025, the teaser of the film Raid 2 ( Ajay Devgn film Raid 2) has been released. The teaser of Raid 2 shows the story of a great battle between Ajay Devgan and Riteish Deshmukh. He has joined the crime thriller as politician Daba Bhai.

Amay Patnaik is ready to conduct his 75th raid

Let us tell you that the teaser of the film Raid 2 begins with some statistics about the exploits of Amay Patnaik. He has conducted 74 raids and has also been transferred 74 times in his career for refusing to bow down to pressure. Raid's villain, Saurabh Shukla, tells his story from jail and wonders whose life Amay Patnaik is making miserable now. We are then introduced to Dadabhai, who is Patnaik's new target, played by Ritesh Deshmukh. Vaani Kapoor is also seen in the teaser. The teaser of the film shows that Dada Bhai says on the phone, 'Since when did these Pandavas start creating Chakravyuh.' To this, Amay Patnaik replies, 'When did I say that I am a Pandava, I am the whole Mahabharata.'

Raid 2 will release on May 1

Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial in lead roles. Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and produced by Panorama Studios. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is scheduled to release in theaters on 1 May 2025.

Ajay Devgn was last seen in 'Azad', a period drama based on pre-independence India. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film features Ajay as a rebel and a skilled horseman who is deeply attached to his loyal horse. Apart from this film, Ajay Devgn is currently preparing for the sequel of 'Son of Sardaar', in which he will share the screen with Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. The original film, released in 2012, featured Ajay, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. Apart from this, Ajay will be seen in 'De De Pyar De 2' with R. Madhavan after the success of the first film in 2019.
