Raj Kundra Breaks Silence on Pornography Controversy After 3 Years

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra is currently surrounded by troubles. Raj Kundra was recently summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for an investigation into the pornography case. Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police in July 2021 for allegedly producing and distributing pornographic content. He later got bail. Meanwhile, now Raj Kundra has spoken openly on this matter for the first time.

Raj Kundra spoke on the pornographic case

Let us tell you that Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra broke his silence on the pornographic case and said, "Till date I have not been a part of any pornography, any production, have nothing to do with porn. When this allegation came out, it was very painful. Bail was granted because there were no facts or evidence for it. I know I have not done anything wrong. As far as running the app is concerned, there was a listed company in my son's name and we used to provide technology services. We provided technology services to my brother-in-law's company Kenrin, in which he launched an app running from the UK, it was definitely bold, it was made for a large audience, these were A-rated films but they were not pornographic at all."

Talking about his association with it, Raj Kundra further said, "As far as my involvement is concerned, it is purely a technology provider. Let a girl come forward and say that I have met Raj Kundra or worked in any of his films, or has Raj Kundra ever made a film. The media says that Raj Kundra is the mastermind of all 13 apps, I am only involved in software technology partnership and there was nothing wrong going on in that app".

Raj Kundra recalls his experience in custody

Sharing his experience of 63 days of detention, Raj Kundra said, "It was very difficult to stay away from my family during this time. But I have full faith in the judiciary. If I am guilty then I should be punished, if not then I should be acquitted".

What is the case against Raj Kundra?

In February 2021, the Mumbai Police began investigating a pornography racket following complaints from several women. These women alleged that they were forced to create pornographic content on the pretext of auditioning for web series and films. According to their claims, they were pressured to complete the shooting, which was then distributed online through subscription-based platforms like HotHit Movies, HotShots, and websites like Nuefliks and HotHitMovies. Raj Kundra soon emerged as a key figure in the investigation.
