Let us tell you that by sharing the poster of Rajinikanth, Lokesh Kanagaraj has unveiled the release date of the title of the film. While sharing the poster, the makers wrote, "The title of Thalaivar 171 will be announced on 22nd April." In the poster, Rajinikanth is seen in a stylish look wearing handcuffs made of a gold watch. In the poster, the South Superstar is seen wearing sunglasses. Seeing this poster, fans are guessing that there will be a connection of time and gold in the plot of the film's story.
Lokesh is working with Rajinikanth for the first time

This is Rajinikanth's first film with Lokesh. This film is being produced by Sun Pictures, which was announced in September last year. Sivakarthikeyan will also be seen in the lead role along with Rajinikanth in this film. The poster reveals that the music is composed by Ravichandran and Anbariv will play the role of stunt director.

Rajinikanth was last seen earlier this year in the film Laal Salaam, directed by his daughter Aishwarya. He is currently shooting for Vettaiyaan with director TJ Gnanavel. Apart from South Superstar, this film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati.
