Salman-Shahrukh's 1995 cult classic blockbuster film 'Karan Arjun' is coming to entertain the audience once again in theaters on November 22. This film was directed by Rakesh Roshan. Director Rakesh Roshan recently talked to Screen about re-releasing the 1995 classic film Karan Arjun on completion of 30 years.

Rakesh Roshan shared his thoughts about the film

In fact, in his recent interview, Rakesh Roshan revealed that Rakhi Gulzar immediately agreed to join the film. He said, "I have worked a lot with Rakhi ji as an actor too, so I went to her to narrate the story. When I narrated the story to her, she asked me if I had come just to know her opinion or to cast her. She immediately said yes. It was an important role".

Rakesh Roshan shared this thing about Rakhi Gulzar

He also spoke about how the mood on the set changed when Rakhi did the 'mere beta aayenge' scene, saying, "The way Rakhi acted and said those dialogues with so much conviction, it formed the base of the story. If she would have just said the dialogue, no one would have believed her, but because she said it with so much impact, it was visible in her eyes, we could feel the vibrations. That's why people also want Karan Arjun to come back."

The director spoke about Amrish Puri

Director Amrish Puri shared a conversation he had with Amrish Puri during the casting. He recalled, "Amrishji and I have been very close friends, he worked with me in Koyla and Kishan Kanhaiya, so when I went to him, he asked me, 'Do you think Karan Arjun will come back?' I said, 'Aap jitni. Buri marne unko maaraenge, jo utni buri tarri baapse jaayega aapko maaraenge ke liye.'"

Rakesh Roshan said this

Rakesh Roshan said that Karan Arjun is different from other reincarnation stories because it focuses on the bond between a mother and her sons rather than the love story. He also said, "Most films on reincarnation are based on love stories, this was the first time a film was made on the relationship between a mother and two sons. I established the genre of lovers reuniting between two brothers."
