Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family attended a banquet organized by the Government of India in Delhi in honor of Padma Vibhushan awardees. President Draupadi Murmu honored Chiranjeevi with Padma Vibhushan for his artistic contribution to Indian cinema. The occasion was organized by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chiranjeevi was also joined by his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, daughter-in-law Upasana, and daughter Sushmita. Later, Ram Charan congratulated the megastar on Instagram.

Ram Charan shared some beautiful pictures and a video from the awards ceremony on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, "Congratulations, Papa. Proud of you." Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela commented under the picture and wrote, "Wow Mr. RC - posted on time."
The government has honored veteran Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu with Padma Vibhushan this year. Although the award ceremony was held recently, Chiranjeevi could not attend it. As a result, he was presented with this award in a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's name appeared in the special list of Padma Award winners for 2024, which was released by the Government of India on January 25. Soon after the announcement, fans and many from the industry congratulated the veteran actor.
According to Pinkvilla, many superstars including Allu Arjun, Dil Raju, Varun Tej, Butchi Babu, and others met Chiranjeevi personally. After this, a grand ceremony was also organized in Chiranjeevi's honor, during which Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy congratulated him. In 2006, the actor received the third-highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan.
South superstar Chiranjeevi has appeared in more than 150 feature films in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada. His famous films include Gang Leader, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Indra, Tagore, Rudra Veena, and Swayam Krishi. Bhola Shankar (2023) was his last big screen film.
The actor is currently putting the finishing touches on his next social-fantasy film Vishwambhar, in which he plays the lead role opposite Trisha Krishnan. Mallidi Vashishtha has written and directed the film, which is produced by V. Vamshi Krishna and Pramod Uppalapati under UV Creations. Vishwambhar is the second film of filmmaker Vashishtha.
