Ram Gopal Varma Reacts to Deepika Padukone’s Demand for 8-Hour Work Shifts

Ram Gopal Varma on Deepika Padukone- Sandeep Reddy Vanga Spirit Row: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone's demand for 8 hours of work has sparked a new debate in the film industry. Many artists, including Sonakshi Sinha, Neha Dhupia, and Vikrant Massey, have supported Deepika. Now, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has given his opinion on the ongoing dispute between Deepika Padukone and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The producer said that this entire controversy was 'exaggerated'.

Ram Gopal Varma spoke on the Deepika Padukone controversy 

In fact, during his recent conversation, Ram Gopal Varma gave his opinion on the ongoing controversy between Deepika Padukone and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and said, "When it comes to fixed shift timings for stars, I really feel that it is an agreement between two people. Each of them has the right to say their point, and the other has the right to refuse".

Continuing his point, Ram Gopal Varma further said, "In my opinion, this whole thing was blown out of proportion. Because I can say that I want to work for 23 hours, and the actor can say that I want to work only for one hour. It is their decision. But how can one person force another person to do something? And they can agree to work with each other or not but this thing was blown out of proportion in the media."

Ram Gopal Varma shared his thoughts on shift timings

Ram Gopal Varma further added that it is not practical to have fixed shift timings for actors, as filmmaking is unpredictable and depends on many external factors. He said, "This is because it depends on many factors. The director may need a particular light. He may want a different combination of actors, or the location may not be available. There are many factors that can play a role in this. 

Deepika Padukone had made this demand

Let us tell you that earlier, there were reports that Sandeep Reddy Wanga had also removed Deepika Padukone from Spirit. According to reports, Deepika had many demands, which included eight-hour shifts, a high salary, and a share in the film's profits. Director Wanga did not like these things. Later, Tripti Dimri was replaced by Deepika Padukone.
