On one side, the drumbeat of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha is being played. Be it TV or social media platforms, it seems the entire country has become Rammay. On the other hand, there is a group of people who consider themselves progressive. They argue that the government is arbitrarily spending money on this event to gain election benefits. According to the arguments being given in opposition, the crores of rupees spent on the temple could have been spent on some work that would have been for the welfare of the general public in the country. The country would have benefited if schools/colleges and hospitals were built. There are temples in every village and house for worship, what is the need to spend so much on this?
A surprising amount was received for the construction of the temple
What was the need, what is the public sentiment, or what is the eternal thinking? The time for debate on these things is over. The day of the consecration of the temple has arrived. The first floor of Shri Ram Janam Mandir is ready for worship and details of expenditure have also come. You will be surprised to know that according to Shri Ram Teerth Trust, the money that has come for the construction of the temple from the donations of Ram devotees, till now all the work has been done only on the interest earned on depositing that money in the bank.
The amount collected for the construction is astonishing
According to the information received, at the time of starting the construction work of the temple, it was thought that the trust workers and Ram devotees would go to the people and collect donations and grants. According to the plan, the target was to receive Rs 900 crore from 11 crore people. But, the amount collected is astonishing. Four times the amount that was thought, i.e. Rs 3200 crore was collected. This amount was deposited directly in the bank and the interest earned from it was spent on the same amount.
Yogi Aditya Nath donated 11 lakhs
Coupons of Rs 10,100 and Rs 1000 were printed before going into temple construction cooperation. Of these, 8 crore coupons of Rs 100 have been brought as grants. The Trust had also appealed to the Chief Minister, Prime Minister, President, and Governor to extend their support. According to the information, a government grant of Re 1 has been received from the Government of India, which has been framed by the Trust. Rs 11 lakh has come from Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath on (25 March). Murari Bapu's disciples have contributed Rs 11 crores. In this way, funds worth Rs 3200 crores have been received for the work for which Rs 80 crores were to be raised.
Ram devotees from all over the world are sending things to the temple
People's faith and trust in the construction of Lord Ram's temple has been so strong that cooperation has come in many different forms and continues to come. For example, a bell weighing 2100 kg has come from a donor. Along with this, there are four more bells of 51 kg. The sound of this bell will echo up to 10 kilometers. Once Chief Minister Yogi said that the sound of the bell has to be ensured so that "the voice of Sanatan Dharma is heard all over the world." And a donor sent the bell. A donor has sent a huge gold-plated drum. One made a 108-foot-high incense stick, someone made a 5 kg Akhand Jyoti, someone made the golden gate of the temple, etc. Similarly, sweets and other goods are coming in trucks from Mithila and Nepal. Ram devotees from India and abroad are wondering what to send and what not to send.
The grand will be remembered for a long time
Looking at the way people's enthusiasm, passion, and devotion to Ram is at its peak, it can be said that this festival of Pran Pratistha may appear to be a government event, but in reality, it is a grand event of the devotees which will be remembered for a long time.
