Ramoji Rao Dies: Ramoji Rao, founder and chairman of Ramoji Group, passed away today on 8 June 2024 at 87. It is being told that Ramoji Rao was undergoing treatment for the last few days and he breathed his last at 4.50 am today in a hospital in Hyderabad. His death sent a wave of mourning across the country. At the same time, on the demise of Ramoji Rao, many celebrities including PM Modi are paying tribute to him for the peace of his soul. 

PM Modi expressed grief over the demise of Ramoji Rao 

PM Modi talked about the contributions of Ramoji Rao and how he left an indelible mark on journalism and the film world. Expressing grief over the demise of Ramoji Rao, he tweeted, "The demise of Shri Ramoji Rao Garu is extremely saddening. He was a visionary who revolutionized the Indian media. His rich contributions have left an indelible mark on journalism and the film world. President Draupadi Murmu expressed her condolences 

Following the news of his death, President Draupadi Murmu expressed her condolences and called him a "giant of the media and entertainment sector". In a post on X, she wrote: "An innovative entrepreneur, he started several ventures, including Eenadu newspaper, ETV News Network and Ramoji Film City. A recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, he succeeded because his vision was essentially rooted in society. His contribution to the industry will long be remembered. My condolences to his family and well-wishers."

Chiranjeevi shared an emotional message

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi shared an emotional message on Twitter in Telugu, saying that Ramoji Rao was like a mountain 'who never bowed down to anyone.'

On the demise of Ramoji Rao, filmmaker SS Rajamouli tweeted, "One man provided employment, livelihood and hope to millions with his 50 years of resilience, hard work, and innovation. The only way to pay tribute to Ramoji Rao Garu is to honor him with Bharat Ratna".
