Choreographer turned director Remo D'Souza has been seen judging many reality shows. Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza have recently been accused of defrauding a dance troupe of Rs 11.96 crore. After which an FIR was also registered at Mira Road Police Station accusing them of fraud and forgery. Meanwhile, now Remo D'Souza and Lizelle have reacted to these allegations against them.
Remo D'Souza and Lizelle presented clarification
Let us tell you that choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza released a joint statement on their Instagram. Sharing the post, he wrote, "It has come to our notice through media reports that some complaints have been filed alleging fraud in relation to a certain dance troupe. It is disappointing that such information has been published. We would like to request everyone to refrain from spreading rumors before ascertaining the true facts. We will pursue our case at the appropriate time and continue to cooperate with the authorities in every possible way as we have done so far. We would like to thank our family, friends and fans for their love and continued support. Love always Lizelle and Remo".
This allegation was made on Remo D'Souza and Lizelle
According to a PTI report, a 26-year-old dancer has accused Remo D'Souza, his wife Lizelle, Omprakash Shankar Chauhan, Rohit Jadhav, Frame Production Company, Vinod Raut, a policeman, and Ramesh Gupta in his complaint. The complainant alleged that Remo D'Souza and his companions performed in a TV show and won it, however, the accused (Remo, Lizelle, and others) claimed the prize money of Rs 11.96 crore by claiming themselves to be the owners of the companions. According to the complainant, he has been cheated between 2018 and July 2024.

Let us tell you that apart from being a choreographer, Remo has been a judge in many dance reality shows since 2009. He has been a judge in Dance India Dance, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Dance Ke Superstar, Dance Plus, Dance Champions, India's Best Dancer, DID Little Master. And has judged many other dancing shows including DID Super Moms. Talking about his projects as a director, Remo D'Souza has made Salman Khan's film 'Race 3', Tiger Shroff's 'Flying Jatt' and ABCD franchise. These days Remo is preparing for the release of his Prime Video film Be Happy. Abhishek Bachchan and Inayat Verma will be seen in the lead roles in this film.
