Actually, Subhash Ghai talked about working with Shahrukh Khan in the film 'Pardes' during a recent chat show. He said, "Like I worked with Shahrukh in Pardes. There was always a misunderstanding between him and me, there was constant bickering, then after Karz (1980) I thought that if a film has to be made in a real way, then it is not possible to make a film with all the current stars".
The director spoke about Jackie Shroff and Shatrughan Sinha
Subhash Ghai, while talking about Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and Shatrughan Sinha during the chat show, said, "There are five types of actors sir. One is a non-actor, and one is a bad actor. Jackie Shroff was a bad actor. Anil Kapoor is an actor... Shatrughan Sinha was always among those who were overconfident. Shatrughan's biggest problem was that he never reached on time". Let us tell you that Subhash Ghai worked with Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor in the 1989 film Ram Lakhan. The filmmaker worked with Shatrughan Sinha in films like Kalicharan (1976) and Vishwanath (1978).
Saal Pardes completed 27 years
Pardes completes 27 years in 2024. At the time, he spoke to ANI and said that the biggest challenge Shah Rukh faced was to keep his romantic aura aside. He said, "I kept reminding him (Shah Rukh Khan) in every scene and song that he has to avoid his charming, romantic side to justify the character of Arjun.
