Let us tell you that the makers shared a new poster of the film 'The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj'. In this picture, the Maratha leader is standing in front of Goddess Bhavani. It reflects spiritual energy and historical grandeur, which is setting the mood for this grand period drama. Paying tribute to the emperor, director Sandeep Singh wrote, "Bhawani! Jai Shivaji! Rishabh Shetty spoke about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Let us tell you that while talking about his role in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Rishabh Shetty had said that Shivaji's life has always fascinated him and stars rarely get opportunities like this biopic. He said, "Shivaji's life and legacy have always fascinated me and I am very proud to be associated with such a great historical personality. Opportunities like a biopic come only once in a lifetime. As an actor and an artist, I feel it is an honor to bring his story alive on the big screen".

Speaking on the film, Rishab Shetty said that the director's vision for the film was so 'grand' that it didn't take him much time to say yes to the project. He said, "Sandeep's vision for the film was so grand that as soon as I heard the film, I said yes without blinking. He is a national hero whose impact transcends history and I feel very proud to bring his story to the screen". 

Rishab Shetty's Upcoming Film

Talking about the work front, these days Rishab Shetty is working on the prequel of his blockbuster Kantara. The film titled Kantara: Chapter 1 will be released in theaters on October 2, 2025. The film is being backed by Hombale Films and will be released in English, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Apart from this, Rishab Shetty will also be seen playing the lead role in Prashant Verma's Hanu-Man sequel, in which he will play the role of the Hindu deity, Lord Hanuman.
