Last month I realized how much I love my mother Maneka. She has been the strongest and bravest person I have ever seen, her sense of humor is intact even after several surgeries. Farah often remembers the difficult times

Farah Khan often spoke about the difficult times she, her brother Sajid, and her mother Menaka faced after her father's death. She said during an interview, "I belonged to a film family, but when I was five years old, we were poor cousins. We had lost all our money, and dad's film flopped. Our story was from riches to poverty. So, they were all happy and we were charity cases. Sajid and I and our mother were charity cases. But, obviously, they were very good to us, they let us stay in their house".
