Choreographer-director Farah Khan and director Sajid Khan's mother Menaka Irani passed away today, on 26 July 2024. Menaka Irani passed away at the age of 79. According to the information received, Menaka Irani was suffering from illness for some time.

Let us tell you that the death of Menaka Irani has been confirmed by film producer and casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Menaka Irani was ill for a long time and was in the hospital. Menaka Irani was the sister of child actors Daisy Irani and Honey Irani. She appeared in the 1963 film 'Bachpan' with her sister Daisy.

In this post, Farah is seen holding her mother's hand, both are smiling warmly in front of the camera. Sharing this post, Farah wrote, "We all take our mothers lightly. Especially me! Last month I realized how much I love my mother Maneka. She has been the strongest and bravest person I have ever seen, her sense of humor is intact even after several surgeries. Happy birthday mother! Today is a good day to come back home. I can't wait for you to be strong enough to fight me again. I love you".

Farah often remembers the difficult times

Farah Khan often spoke about the difficult times she, her brother Sajid, and her mother Menaka faced after her father's death. She said during an interview, "I belonged to a film family, but when I was five years old, we were poor cousins. We had lost all our money, and dad's film flopped. Our story was from riches to poverty. So, they were all happy and we were charity cases. Sajid and I and our mother were charity cases. But, obviously, they were very good to us, they let us stay in their house".
