In fact, Dr. Parkar told the media that Salim Khan was put on a ventilator as a safety measure when he was admitted due to high blood pressure. He also revealed that a minor procedure was performed on February 18th because Khan had suffered a mild brain hemorrhage. The doctor said, "He was having seizures and his blood pressure was high. We treated him. We had to put him on a ventilator to prevent his condition from worsening. It wasn't because he was critical. We ran the necessary tests. Today, we performed a minor procedure on him. I won't go into details. He's fine. He's stable. He's been shifted to the ICU. By tomorrow, he'll be taken off the ventilator. He's doing quite well. I understand age is a factor, so the recovery process will take time."
