Salman Khan: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights. The matter was heard today, December 11, before a bench headed by Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora. In the petition, Salman Khan has appealed for action against individuals and organizations who are commercially using his name, image, voice, and identity.

Let us tell you that on Thursday, December 11, 2025, the Delhi High Court directed social media intermediaries to take action within three days on the complaint of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, in which protection of his personality rights was sought. Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora said that she will pass a detailed interim stay order regarding other entities involved in this case.

The court gave this order

The High Court directed social media intermediaries to treat Salman Khan's case as a complaint under the Information and Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and take necessary action within three days. If social media intermediaries have any objection to any web link given by Salman Khan, they should inform them.

Before Salman Khan, Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, her husband Abhishek Bachchan and her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgan, filmmaker Karan Johar, singer Kumar Sanu, Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, journalist Sudhir Chaudhary and podcaster Raj Shamani had also approached the High Court to protect their personality and publicity rights. The court has granted them interim relief. Telugu actor NTR Rao Jr. has also approached the Delhi High Court to protect his personality rights. The court has not yet given any order on his petition.
