Salman-Shahrukh's 1995 cult classic blockbuster film 'Karan Arjun' is coming to entertain the audience once again in theaters on November 22. This film was directed by Rakesh Roshan. Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan revealed who he considers the modern Karan Arjun. Along with this, Rakesh Roshan revealed that Aamir Khan and Salman Khan were included in it after Ajay Devgan and Shahrukh Khan were out of Karan Arjun.

Rakesh Roshan said this

In fact, in his latest interview, Rakesh Roshan shared that apart from him and his dialogue writer, no one believed in this project. He said, "When I was making this film, no one believed in it, but everyone believed in me and when it was released, the audience accepted it with open arms."

'Shahrukh Khan backed out from Karan Arjun' - Rakesh Roshan

Along with this, Rakesh Roshan also told that Ajay Devgan and Shahrukh Khan left Karan Arjun. Rakesh Roshan shared, "While only Ajay can answer why he left Karan Arjun, Shahrukh left the film because he wanted to play the role like Ajay Devgan and Shahrukh Khan also wanted to play the role like Ajay. They wanted to change their respective images. But I said that I am not making this film to change their image, this is a story for which they had to be who they were".

When Shahrukh said this to Rakesh Roshan

Not only this, Rakesh Roshan further said, “They both left the film, then I took Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in it. Later, Shahrukh came back and said that he wanted to work with me because I was the first person to sign him as an actor in King Uncle. He said, 'I could not sleep at night, and even if I don't trust the story, I will still work with you. I have full faith.' Then I told Aamir that I have Shahrukh's dates from next month, so I will start with him, and Aamir agreed.

Rakesh Roshan spoke on the friendship of Shahrukh and Salman

Talking about the camaraderie between all of them on the sets of the film, especially Shah Rukh and Salman, Rakesh Roshan said, "30 years ago they were new and were very new, in those days we didn't have vanity vans, we had one hairdresser and makeup artist. We all used to sit together, have lunch together. We used to hang out together during outdoor schedules and work like a family."

Karan Arjan was released in 1995

Karan Arjun is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language fantasy action masala film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film stars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rakhee Gulzar, Mamta Kulkarni and Kajol in the lead roles. Amrish Puri plays the main antagonist, while Johnny Lever, Arjun, Jack Gaud, Ranjeet and Asif Sheikh appear in supporting roles.
