Sardaar Ji 3 to Skip India Release: Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film 'Sardaar Ji 3' is in a lot of discussions. Pakistani actress Hania Aamir will also be seen in the film along with Diljit. Pakistani stars were banned after the tension between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. But due to the presence of Hania Aamir in 'Sardar Ji 3', it is being opposed a lot, due to which the makers have decided not to release the film in India.

Let us tell you that the trailer of Diljit Dosanjh's film Sardar Ji 3 was released on June 22. Sharing the trailer on social media, Diljit clarified that it is releasing only abroad. He wrote, "Sardar Ji 3 is releasing only abroad on June 27. Phad Lao Bhond Diya Latan". While sharing the poster of Sardar Ji 3, the studio wrote, "We are very happy to announce that Sardar Ji 3 will be released abroad on June 27! However, its release in India has been put on hold for now. We appreciate your love and patience, and we will soon share its release date in India. Stay tuned for updates, we are eagerly waiting for you all to see the film on the big screen!"

Users are criticizing the trailer a lot

Despite being released exclusively overseas, the film's trailer received a lot of criticism from social media users. One fan wrote, "Country comes first - disappointed to see Diljit so comfortable with Pakistani co-stars". Another commented, "Didn't expect this from Diljit after Pahalgam, where is Seema?"

Sardarji 3 will release on June 27

Apart from Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir, Sardar Ji 3 also stars Pakistani actors Daniel Khawar, Nasir Chinioti, and Salim Albela, and Punjabi superstar Neeru Bajwa. The story of the film revolves around a team that goes to a haunted castle in the UK with armed soldiers. After they are defeated by an invisible spirit, the owner decides to call Dosanjh for help. The film is directed by Amar Hundal and will hit theaters on June 27.

FWICE had requested that CBFC not approve the film

FWICE had requested that CBFC refuse approval to the film. On June 11, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had requested the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to refuse approval to Diljit Dosanjh's film due to the presence of Pakistani artistes. The film's unique release strategy appears to be a precautionary measure against potential delays, protests, and political backlash.
