Let us tell you that Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan re-shared a note on their Instagram stories. Janhvi Kapoor shared a petition on her Instagram story which criticized the court order. She agreed with this statement, "They call it a threat. We call it a heartbeat. Today, the Supreme Court says to remove every stray dog from the streets of Delhi-NCR and lock it up. No sunlight. No freedom. No familiar faces, they meet every morning. But these are not just stray dogs. These are the ones who wait for biscuits outside your tea shop. They are silent watchmen at night for shopkeepers. These are the tails that wag when children return from school. They are warmth in a cold, indifferent city".

The note further said, "Yes, there are problems of animal bites, there are safety concerns, but locking an entire community of animals in cages is not a solution. It is like wiping them out. What is the real solution? Large-scale sterilisation programmes, regular vaccination drives, community feeding areas, and adoption drives."

Chinmayi and Siddharth Anand opposed the order of the Supreme Court

Sharing a report about the Supreme Court order, singer Chinmayi wrote on X, "I read this as a death sentence for all dogs. People leave Huskies, Labradors, and German Shepherds to die after breeding them in India. Actually, in shelter homes. Since dogs are the vehicle of Lord Kala Bhairava, they should fulfill his needs."

Siddharth Anand also tweeted, "There is no compassion left. No compassion. Who will take care of their food there? At least on the streets, there are some sympathetic humans who feed these poor, mute creatures. They will die there of hunger and thirst, and that is a death warrant signed by the Supreme Court. Please, someone, start a petition and stop this massacre. I am with you!!!"
