Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar to host IIFA Awards 2024 in Abu Dhabi

IIFA 2024: International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), one of India's most popular award events, has completed 23 years. This event, which is held every year, will be held on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi this time too. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will host IIFA 2024. Shah Rukh Khan will host the three-day event in Abu Dhabi with filmmaker Karan Johar.

This event will last for so many days

Let us tell you that IIFA 2024 will be a three-day event, which will run from September 27 to September 29. The first day (September 27) is the day of IIFA Utsav, which will celebrate four South Indian film industries. The second day (September 28) is the night of IIFA Awards. The last day of the festival, September 29 is dedicated to IIFA Rocks for the music industry.

Shahrukh Khan will become the host again

Shah Rukh Khan shared his thoughts on hosting the 24th edition of the IIFA Awards. He said, “IIFA is a celebration of Indian cinema that resonates across the world and it has been amazing to be a part of its journey over the years. I am looking forward to bringing alive the energy, passion and grandeur of IIFA once again as we gear up for an unforgettable celebration of Indian cinema this September!”

Karan Johar shared his thoughts on IIFA

Announcing his return to host the 24th edition of IIFA, Karan Johar expressed his delight and said, "For over two decades, IIFA has been a defining part of my journey. My father, with his extensive industry experience and vision, was a vital member of IIFA's Advisory Board in the early years, contributing to its mission to celebrate Indian cinema". Karan Johar further added, "His association with IIFA was a matter of immense pride, further cementing our family's deep bond with the Indian film industry and its international outreach. It is a great honor to recreate the magic with my dear friend Shah Rukh Khan on the iconic IIFA stage for our third showcase on September 27-29. Get ready for an unforgettable experience - we are going to light up Yas Island, Abu Dhabi like never before".
