In the Hindi version of the film, Shah Rukh's elder son Aryan Khan will voice Simba. AbRam Khan will voice young Mufasa. Other actors who will lend their voices include Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon and Meiyang Chang as Taka. The film is directed by Barry Jenkins. Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King will release in India on December 20, 2024 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Apart from this, Netflix and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment have officially announced an untitled Bollywood series that will mark Aryan Khan's debut as a creator and director. The series will release in 2025 and will be available exclusively on Netflix.
