Shahrukh Confirmed for Sujoy Ghosh's Film 'King': King Khan Returns

Shah Rukh Khan rules the hearts of millions with his acting. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Pardo alla Carriera or Career Leopard at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival. Not only this, King Khan spoke openly about his collaboration with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh at the Locarno Film Festival.

Shahrukh spoke about working with Sujoy Ghosh

 Let us tell you that while talking about his upcoming film King, Shah Rukh Khan said, "There are certain types of films that I want to do, maybe it focuses on age and I want to do something new. I have been thinking about it for 6-7 years and one day when we were sitting, I talked to Sujoy about this. He works with us in our office, he has made some films for us. He said, Sir, I have a subject".

Shahrukh lost weight for the movie King

Along with this, Shahrukh also talked about losing weight for his film King. He said, "I am working on the next film King, I have to start working on it, lose some weight, do some stretching. I take so much time to finish the film because I like to spend time with the director with whom I am going to spend more than a year making the film."

Suhana Khan will be seen with Shahrukh

Not only this, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan will also be in the lead role in the film King. King is being considered as a unique action thriller of its kind in which Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a raw and rough action avatar. The film depicts a guru-disciple bond between Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan. King reportedly also stars Abhay Verma, who recently created a stir with the blockbuster horror comedy Munjya. Abhishek Bachchan will play the villain in this film. The film is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh. This action-packed thriller is being produced by Shah Rukh under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand's production house Marflix. The music and background score of King is being done by Anirudh, while the team has roped in some of the best names from all over to design the action sequences. The film may release in December 2025 next year.
