Sharad Sankla aka Abdul breaks silence on leaving TMKOC show

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: The show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is in the limelight every day. The show has been entertaining the audience for the last 16 years. After Goli's departure, now there are reports of another actor leaving the show. This is none other than actor Sharad Sankla who plays the role of Abdul. Meanwhile, now the actor has finally addressed these rumors and revealed that this is not the case. He is still a part of the show.

Actually, Sharad Sankla aka Abdul reacted to leaving the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and said, "No, the news is absolutely false. I am not going anywhere and am very much a part of the show. The story of the show is such that my character is not there, but very soon Abdu will be back. It is part of the story. It is such a lovely and long-running show and I am known because of my character of Abdul, it is a great achievement. Why would I leave the show? I can't even think of leaving the show".

Continuing his talk, the actor said, "It is a very lovely and long-running show and I am known for the character of Abdul. It is a big achievement for me. Why would I leave the show? I can't even think of leaving the show. Production house Neela Telefilms is like a family to me and our producer Asit Kumar Modi is my college friend and there is no reason why I would ever leave the show. As long as the show continues, I will remain a part of it". Let us tell you that the rumor of Sharad Sankla leaving the show spread because he was not seen for a long time. After which speculations are being made that perhaps the actor has said goodbye to the show.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah may be the most popular sitcom on Indian television, having been running for 16 years. However, in recent years, many actors including Disha Vakani, Raj Anadkat, Shailesh Lodha, Gurcharan Singh, and Jennifer Mistry have left the show. Recently, Kush Shah, who played the character of Goli in the show, also left the show.

Last month, the makers released a video in which Kush Shah confirmed leaving the show and said, “When this show started when you and I met for the first time, I was very young. Since then you have given me a lot of love. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here. I have spent my childhood here and most importantly I want to thank Mr. Asit Kumar Modi, the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for this journey. He put a lot of faith in me, made my character so interesting, and always motivated me. It is because of his faith that today Kush became Goli.”
