Sharvari Wagh breaks silence on poor box office response of Vedaa

ohn Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer 'Vedaa' was released on 15 August 2024. This action-packed film has not been able to do anything special. Meanwhile, Sharvari Wagh has broken her silence on the poor box office collection of the film Vedaa.

Sharvari Wagh speaks about the box-office performance of Vedaa

Sharvari Wagh, in her recent interview, talking about the box office performance of Vedaa said, "Honestly, there are two different ways to look at it. For me, I think my heart in Vedaa was in the role and the performance. I honestly feel the heart of the film was in the right place. Now the business decisions, whether things work or not, are beyond me because this is only my third film in theatres. So, this is something that I am still learning and I am still a student of understanding how it translates and what is the right thing to do in terms of business."

Sharvari Wagh further added, "I think this role was very difficult and challenging and beyond comfort for me. So, when I got the love of the audience, I was satisfied because I trusted my performance. It could have happened in a hundred other ways. For me, it happened the right way, it's a big victory. I haven't done drama, which is also very difficult, and it was a big success for me."

Vedaa collected this much

Vedaa has so far collected ₹19.25 crores in two weeks at the box office. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the action film follows the journey of a young woman Vedaa (Sharvari) who dares to challenge the status quo. Her fight for justice is bolstered by the unwavering support of an ex-army man (John) who becomes her shield and her weapon.

Sharvari is busy shooting for the film Alpha

Let us tell you that Sharvari is busy shooting for her upcoming film Alpha these days. Alia Bhatt will also be seen in the lead role along with Sharvari in this film. Currently, both the actresses are shooting for the film Alpha in Kashmir.

Sharvari Wagh said this about John Abraham

In a recent interview, Sharvari Wagh had revealed how her Vedaa co-star John Abraham guided her in preparing for Alpha. Talking about this, the actress said, “I don't think anyone can do it better than John. So to be able to learn from John, I think I am taking a lot of knowledge and getting involved in Alpha because I have seen John do action in front of me and directed some incredible action set pieces, so I was watching John perform every day and I was trying to take notes of what happens. He is very excited about Alpha”.
