Shilpa Shirodkar revealed, she was looking for work before Bigg Boss 18

The 18th season of the reality show 'Bigg Boss' hosted by Salman Khan has started. Famous 90s actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who is also the sister-in-law of Telugu star Mahesh Babu, has come as a contestant in the show. Shilpa Shirodkar said during her interview that before becoming a part of Bigg Boss 18, she was looking for work.

Let us tell you that Shilpa Shirodkar said during the interview that she wanted to work, but people told her that she did not have work. She also said that people were not even ready to meet her. Talking about her decision to do Bigg Boss 18, the actress said, "Honestly, I am a big fan of the show. Whenever I used to watch the show, my daughter used to say that I should go in it. The family is very happy that I am going inside the house. I was looking for work, my daughter is now 20 years old, and my husband travels a lot for his work, so I wanted to come back to do something for myself. I was trying to look for work and connect with people, but everyone kept telling me that there is no work. I am doing this because I am an actor by profession, this is my job, so what could be a better platform for me than this?"

Shilpa Shirodkar was looking for work before Bigg Boss

Continuing her point Shilpa Shirodkar said, "I have been asked this many times and I have always said that yes I was looking for work before Bigg Boss, but no one answers your phone and even if they do, they diplomatically say that nothing is happening in the industry right now. They will call back when there is an opportunity, this has happened to me recently. I am an actor, I want to work, for me Bigg Boss is also work. People see it differently, but it is a job. My goal of doing this is to get more work after this, I am not being fake or diplomatic here, I was asking for work, but people were not even ready to meet me".

Shilpa shirodkar's career

Shilpa Shirodkar made her Bollywood debut in 1989 with Ramesh Sippy's film Corruption opposite Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha. After that, she was a part of many commercially successful films like Kishan Kanhaiya, Trinetra, Hum, Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, Gopi Kishan. Shilpa established herself as a star in Bollywood. She has given some memorable roles by working with Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, Akshay Kumar, Shahrukh Khan and other actors.
