Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao's film Stree 2 gets U/A certificate

The audience is eagerly waiting for the release of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao's horror comedy film 'Stree 2'. The film is just a few days away from release. Meanwhile, CBFC has given a U/A certificate to the horror comedy 'Stree 2' and has asked to make two minor changes. 

Stree 2 gets U/A certificate

Let us tell you that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Stree 2 a U/A certificate, that is, children below 12 years of age can watch the film with their parents. But the CBFC has asked the makers to make some changes in the film but these changes are not related to visual cuts. The Board's examining committee (EC) has asked the makers to make audio modifications, which they found inappropriate. The board has asked to change the mention of celebrities and mute the name of the monument. After making these changes, the film was given a U/A certificate.

If we talk about the runtime of the film, the runtime of Stree 2 is 149.29 minutes, that is, 2 hours, 29 minutes, and 29 seconds.

Advance booking of the film has started on Book My Show. Actually, this film will be released on 15th August. But there is a twist in it. The night show of Stree 2 film will start on 14th August at 9:30 pm.

Apart from Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee will be seen in the lead roles in the film 'Stree 2'. The film 'Stree 2' is directed by Amar Kaushik. It is being produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. This film will also clash at the box office. Stree 2 is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao's 'Stree 2' will clash with Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda'.

Director Mudassar Aziz spoke on the clash of Stree 2 and 'Khel Khel Mein'

In fact, director Mudassar Aziz, while talking about his film 'Khel Khel Mein' clashing with Amar Kaushik's Stree 2, said, "We are all part of Hindi cinema. A festive weekend is coming. I don't see Stree 2 against us. I like Amar Kaushik very much, I respect his work a lot. And I want both our films to work. I want Hindi films to do well. We need to work hard to make our industry prosper. When such a festive weekend comes, we should ask our audience to come. This is my way of calling out to Amar and saying 'Let's have a great weekend at the box office.' Let's all do well because this is what Hindi cinema needs".
