Let us tell you that remembering the old days, Smriti Irani told why her show was shifted to the late night slot. She said, "That story was once told at a very strange and obscure time on television. It was pushed to the late night slot because a female producer was enthusiastically supporting a story. Star Plus had prepared a major show for the prime time slot at 9 pm and there was a big difference between that show and our show".

Continuing her point, Smriti Irani further said, "Our show created history. People often say that history does not repeat itself, but I think we proved it wrong. We repeated history. If someone says that a show running today will be remade or shown after 25 years, I don't think it is possible. So, achieving such a feat on Indian television is no small achievement."

With its emotional storyline and dramatic plot twists, it became a cultural phenomenon, making "saas-bahu" dramas an integral part of Indian households. The show also stars Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Rohit Suchanti, Shagun Sharma, Aman Gandhi, Tanishaa Mehta, Ankit Bhatia and Prachi Singh in pivotal roles. The show is available to watch on Jio Cinema and Star Plus.
