Stampede at the screening of 'Pushpa 2', 1 woman dead, 3 injured

The most awaited film of the year 2024, Pushpa 2, has been released in theaters today on 5 December 2024. There is a tremendous craze among the fans about this film. Meanwhile, a tragic incident happened during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad. It is being told that during the screening of the film Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad, a stampede broke out in which 1 woman and 3 people were injured.

1 woman died at the screening of 'Pushpa 2'

Actually, before the release, a screening of 'Pushpa 2' was held at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on Wednesday, in which the hero of the film Allu Arjun also participated. In such a situation, a crowd gathered outside the theater to get a glimpse of Allu Arjun and there was a ruckus. When the situation worsened, many people fell on the ground and got injured. The police immediately took the injured to the hospital. The doctor declared the woman dead. The woman's son is undergoing treatment.

The woman came to the screening with her family

The report said that the victim was identified as Revathi, a resident of Dilsukhnagar. She had come with her husband Bhaskar and their two children to attend the screening of the Allu Arjun-starrer. When Allu Arjun arrived at the theatre around 10.30 pm on Wednesday, a stampede-like situation arose there. Police officials tried to control the huge crowd. Several videos also surfaced on X, which gave a glimpse of the chaotic situation near the theatre. A man was seen running with an unconscious child in the huge crowd, laying his body on the ground and giving CPR. The woman was rushed to the hospital, where she succumbed. The main gate of the theatre also collapsed in the chaos, the report said.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has been released on 5 December

Pushpa 2: The Rule is a sequel to Sukumar's 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh will reprise their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are producing the film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film. The film is expected to have a blockbuster start at the box office this week. The film has been released today on 5 December 2024.
