His friends were banging on my windows loudly, shouting "Jai Maharashtra!" and laughing. We moved a little ahead and repeated the same thing. Twice in a span of 5 minutes. No police. No law and order. Just me, in my car, in broad daylight, in South Bombay - feeling unsafe and the roads? Littered with banana peels, plastic bottles, dirt. Occupying the sidewalks. We have a right to feel safe in our city."
