In fact, according to a report by NDTV, sources close to the family have said that Sanjay Kapoor's funeral may be delayed due to legal formalities related to his US citizenship. The source said, "The complication arises from the fact that Sanjay was a US citizen who died in the UK, which required a lengthy legal process before his body could be brought to India for cremation".
