Sunjay Kapur Property Case: Since the death of late businessman Sanjay Kapoor , his family has been embroiled in disagreements over his will and property. Her lawyer and senior advocate Vaibhav Gaggar presented this claim in the Delhi High Court on Monday. The lawyer further stated, "There has been a massive concealment. This house (a farmhouse in Delhi's Rajokri area) was built by my late husband. There are over 50 artworks there. This man ( Sanjay Kapoor ) had no life insurance, no rental income, and no mutual funds. His salary alone was ₹60 crore, and we're saying he only has ₹1.7 crore in his accounts. My Lady can ask for two years' worth of details, not just for Mr. Kapoor, but also for Defendant No. 1 Priya Kapoor, because money has been moved. Any interim order should be status quo ante, because money may have been moved across the border as well."

The lawyer also refuted Priya Sachdev's claim that it's customary in the Kapoor family for husbands to pass on their personal property to their wives. He also pointed out that Sanjay's father had previously given his property to Rani Kapoor. The lawyer said, "How can you compare the two? She (Priya Kapoor) was married to Sanjay for seven years. This was his third marriage and his second. I was married to my husband for forty years. The difference doesn't end there. Our will was registered. The witness to our will was a person my husband had known for 30 years. Here, the witness says he wasn't even associated with the company before 2022." The court will next hear the case on December 3.
