Sunny Deol on Fawad Khan’s Bollywood Comeback, Says ‘More Films Should Be Made’

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol has now shared his views on the return of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan to Indian cinema amid the ongoing debate. 

Sunny Deol spoke on Fawad Khan's Bollywood comeback

Let us tell you that in an interview, Sunny Deol was asked whether he supported Fawad Khan's return to Indian cinema (Sunny Deol supports Fawad Khan). Answering this question, the actor said, "Look, I don't want to get into politics because that's where things start getting messy. We are actors. We work for everyone around the world. Whether someone is watching or not, we are for everyone. So, there is no such thing. The world has become as much as it is. We should remain global and let more and more countries be formed; that's how it should be".

Fawad will return to Bollywood after the decision of the Bombay High Court 

Let us tell you that this statement has come after years of tension over Pakistani artists working in India, which was followed by political controversies. In 2016, an informal ban was imposed on Pakistani artists in India, but the Bombay High Court rejected the petition to officially ban them till 2023. Fawad Khan is now ready to return to India after years with Abir Gulaal

'Abir Gulaal' will be released on 9 May 2025 

Produced by Indian Stories Limited and A Richer Lens Entertainment, in association with Aarjay Pictures, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 9, 2025. Amit Trivedi has worked on its music. Abir Gulaal is directed by Aarti S. Bagri and also stars Ridhi Dogra in a key role. It is set to clash with Rajkummar Rao's 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'. Meanwhile, Fawad was last seen in the web show 'Barzakh'.

The film 'Jaat' has been released on 10 April

The film stars Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda along with Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu and others in supporting roles. The action choreography is done by Anal Arasu, Ram Lakshman and Venkat, which gives a visual feast of thrilling war. The film has a soundtrack composed by Thaman S and Rishi Punjabi is behind the lens as the director of photography. Editing is done by Naveen Nooli, while Avinash Kola's production design will take the audience to the heart of the entertaining world of the film. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the film has been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on April 10.
