Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Kal Ho Na Ho' was a superhit. It is a classic film, some of whose scenes are still etched in the minds of the audience. In a recent interview, Delnaaz Irani, who played a supporting role in the film, spoke openly about filming this powerful scene. She said that the atmosphere on the set was so sad that none of the actors needed glycerine to cry and everyone's emotions were raw and real.

Delnaaz Irani said this about the film

Let us tell you that Delnaaz Irani recalled in her recent conversation, "The last scene, Aman's death scene - I remember very well that I had a TV shoot schedule. We used to shoot combinations, so I asked my director if I could get a day off. He said, "Look Delnaaz, this is a very big sequence, the most important part of the film, and I need you in this scene." I made sure that somehow I could fix things and be there for that shot."

None of the actors used glycerin

Delnaaz Irani further added, “Oh, I am so glad that I made sure I was a part of the big scene of Aman's death, which was very important to the film. The actors in that scene nailed it. The atmosphere was so real that none of the actors used glycerine. Everyone was genuinely crying, which made the whole scene very memorable.”

The film Kal Ho Na Ho will be released again on November 15

Kal Ho Naa Ho also featured Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta in pivotal roles. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan as Aman, a terminally ill man who loves Naina (Preity), but knowing his fate, plans to bring her closer to his friend Rohit (Saif). During Naina and Rohit's wedding celebrations, Aman suffers a heart attack and eventually dies. The film was well-received by critics and proved to be a huge box office hit. The film stars Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta in the lead roles, with Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lillete Dubey, and Delnaaz Paul in supporting roles. The film was produced by Yash Johar and Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. Kal Ho Naa Ho is set to re-release in theatres on November 15.
