Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 after a long illness. In a recent interview, his daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recalled his last two wishes which were fulfilled after his death.

In fact, in her recent interview, Riddhima Kapoor said, "His last two wishes were Ranbir's marriage and getting the house ready. So the house is almost ready, and Ranbir is married. It was a very emotional moment for us. I wish he was with us, but I think God had some other plans". 

Riddhima spoke about Ranbir and Alia's marriage 

Talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding, Riddhima said that Rishi had a big wedding for them, but this time both Ranbir and Alia decided that they wanted to host a private wedding. She said, "My wedding was very big, so I was not happy at all in my wedding. My father wanted the wedding to be very big, which he did. So Ranbir said, 'You know, we have had a very big wedding in our family, a very big celebration, so this time ...' and he is a very simple person. Both Ranbir and Alia are very simple people. So they said that we want to make it very small." Let us tell you that when Rishi Kapoor passed away, Ranbir Kapoor was already dating Alia Bhatt. Later both got married in 2022.

Riddhima recalled when Alia and Ranbir planned an intimate wedding. Talking about this, Riddhima shared, "They said we just want people who matter to us, people we are in touch with every day and we want to have a good time ourselves and they did that. They both were jumping with joy. They thoroughly enjoyed their wedding met everyone, and spent time with everyone." Let us tell you that when Rishi Kapoor passed away, Ranbir Kapoor was already dating Alia Bhatt. Later Ranbir and Alia got married in April 2022 at their residence in Bandra. They are now parents to their daughter Rhea Kapoor.
