Ananya Pandey is garnering praise for her comedy-drama series Call Me Bae. Now the actress is ready for the release of her upcoming cyber thriller film CTRL. Today on 25 September, the trailer of the film CTRL has been released, which gives a glimpse of the interesting plot.

Ananya Pandey was seen handing over control of her life to AI

The trailer of CTRL introduces Ananya as Nela, who creates an account on a platform called CTRL. It allows an AI assistant to control your life and happiness. It turns out that Nela is trying to get over a bad breakup where her boyfriend cheated on her. She asks Ctrl to 'delete' her ex-boyfriend. Then she finds out that he has gone missing, which means that the AI's intervention has real-world implications.

Ananya Panday shares her thoughts on playing Nela

Ananya Panday shared her thoughts about playing the role of Nela. The actress said, "My character Nela is just like any one of us. She is caught in a world dominated by technology and social media. CTRL explores how we tread the fine line between our online presence and who we are in real life. Working with Vikram Sir and Nikhil Sir has been an incredible journey, and I can't wait for you to watch it on Netflix and unravel the connection between Nela and Alan."

Talking about the film, director Vikramaditya Motwane said, "CTRL has been a completely unique journey for me and the team. We tell it in a 'screen life' format, which presents the story in an almost voyeuristic way, using technology we use every day. Our goal is to create this immersive experience, and Netflix has really helped us reach a global audience".

Now, I am looking forward to seeing how it connects with a global audience, reaching 190 countries through Netflix's platform."
