Vedang Raina spoke about the disappointing response to Jigra

Actor Vedang Raina, who started his career with Netflix's web series 'The Archies', was last seen in the film 'Jigra'. Alia Bhatt was also seen with the actor in the film. The film also performed well at the box office. Meanwhile, Vedang Raina spoke openly about the learnings from 2024 and the negativity surrounding Jigra. 

Vedang Raina talked about the year 2024

Let us tell you that Vedang Raina said during his recent conversation, "The learning from 2024 is that the biggest virtue of an actor is patience. It is about being patient when your work is not happening, or waiting when there is no work, and living those moments the same way you live the moments on the set".

Vedang Raina said this to Jigra

This year, Vedang Raina made his theatrical debut with Jigra starring Alia Bhatt. Talking about the film Jigra, the actor said, "It was very different. I had seen myself on the big screen only during the premiere of Jigra. It was special to be a part of such a film with Alia. Directed by Vasan Bala sir and backed by Karan Johar, it was always a big deal. I could never have imagined that this would happen in my second film. It means a lot, so there were a lot of positives from there."

Vedang said on the negative response received by Jigra

Along with this, Vedang Raina, while talking about the negative response received by Jigra, said, “As an actor, you work for more than a year for a project. You want the audience to like it, enjoy it, take it in a good way, be entertained and be impressed. These are the things we aim for. We do all the hard work behind the scenes to get some kind of recognition and appreciation for our work and for people to enjoy it. So, when nothing like that happens, or some people react in a certain way, you question what you could have done better, what things could have been different. It is a very natural way to deal with things”.

"It's been a year since I entered the industry"- Vedang Raina

Not only this, Vedang Raina said, "It has been a year since I have been in the industry, so I am understanding these aspects of the industry better. There are a lot of good things to learn from Jigra and constructive criticism. The goal is still the same, to keep getting better with every film and improve and hone what you are doing and maybe reach a position somewhere in life where all this bears fruit. You keep working, the rest depends on the universe".
